Sakho & Valencia - Reunited?
All being well, hoping these two are selected to start the game Sunday with Carroll a doubt.
Since Carroll returned from injury in November, these two have never played together. Considering we have played our most entertaining football with results included with them, find this very hard to believe it has not happened sooner.
The Christmas period would have been a good opportunity to rotate the squad and rest Carroll for a game, but no Allardyce decided to play Carroll throughout and he was fucked by the West Brom game.

Wont happen. Sakho or Valencia with Nolan is more likely.

If they were paired together and do not score a hatrick each, BFS may claim the partnership was not really working ;-)

I LOVE YOU ALLARDYCE!

I LOVE YOU NOLAN!

More concerned with downing playing in the centre and Nolan being benched for anyone else, but it would be nice to see these two back together.

Cole valencia and nolan I reckon

if we do go with valencia sahko and downing the pace and energy up front has increased no end, getting a buzz thinking about them running at man u's shakey back line

Re: Sakho & Valencia - Reunited?
This has to happen with surely a midfield of Downing,Song,Noble and Kouyate.
Everyone knows you have to attack Manu with pace, they have far to many good forwards to allow them to come at us.
Hopefully we will a have good defence in place to.

Nolan and Cole. Sam says he has a tried and tested method.

Re: Sakho & Valencia - Reunited?
He may play Cole to placate him for the WBA fiasco. For all Sams claims of being flexible and a professional, results driven manager, he does the opposite sometimes :-)

He is an odd ball old Samuel. He says he is flexible and then returns to his tried and trusted methods. Its reverse psychology everytime he speaks :-)

Re: Sakho & Valencia - Reunited?
Sam has ruined what was going to be a decent season
Is he playing up of genuinely a stubborn wanker by not playing the best side? On the bright side it might actually fuck his chances of a new deal but maybe he's not bloody bothered as team selection says not

I really want to see these 2 up top again

Re: Sakho & Valencia - Reunited?
I think what he does with the midfield affects us more than just putting them 2 back up top together. We created alot more chances with the diamond and Downing at the tip. Seemed to allow Jenkinson and Cresswell get forward more and whip them crosses in.

I'd love to start with the same tema v the mancs as we did man city. What a day around

Re: Sakho & Valencia - Reunited?
With any luck carroll being out means he won't play nolan in the hole as carrol won't be trying to knock the ball down for him

Well that's what anyone with an ounce of intelligence would be able to see
